Blockman Go Beta is a free adventure game by developer Blockman GO studio. This game feels similar to Minecraft - Pocket Edition and Discovery Lite - Quest Edition because you control a character that interacts with a 3D world with blocks. However, the gameplay is completely different from both.
At first, the name is confusing because Blockman Go exists as a separate version. This is because the developer decided to launch a Beta version for new features, so players can test them and give feedback before rolling them out to the regular game. If you participate in this Beta, you can get cubes, coins and other rewards.
Not a Minecraft clone
Blockman Go Beta doesn’t change the main premise, which is short and engaging multiplayer matches. Given the wide range of scenarios available, it never gets old, and there are many clones of other popular games such as Angry Birds, Super Mario Bros. and more.
These minigames are extremely varied, with options such as build battles and bird simulators. Blockman Go Beta adds new games and updates older ones, such as a flying chess update with 3D mode. The developer warns that these new levels may not be available in the full game later on.
Satisfying pocket-sized experiences

Any player will find suitable games for their taste. There are also a lot of customisation options for your avatar, including different clothing styles. There’s even a recommendation system to help you choose your attire.
Take the inside track
The regular Blockman Go is a safe bet for most players since everything works as intended, and it’s stable across many devices. However, if you’re eager to try something new, or want to have a say in the direction the game’s going, participating in the Blockman Go Beta is the way to go.
Even though the new features are interesting, these are untested ones. This means it’s likely you’ll come up with errors, crashes and options that aren’t available in the regular game. This beta version is best enjoyed alongside your copy of the regular Blockman Go at hand rather than replacing it.
