Measures the distance and the round-trip time. Simple UI. SoftPerfect WorldRoute provides you with route details; each country and city is marked on the map. With any IP-address or website you can see the path network packets take to that destination. The downside is that SoftPerfect WorldRoute is lacking somewhat in technical accuracy and details, compared to other graphical trace-route apps on the market. Reports state that it only displays a portion of the hops on the map. Also, it doesn’t offer any in depth analytical features for trying to solve connectivity issues. That being said, it is free and the interface is basic and straightforward enough to be navigated by novice users.
