MediaFork for Mac

MediaFork is a DVD to MPEG-4 ripper and converter that offers a streamlined process for ripping and converting DVDs on Mac. With easy chapter selection and solid output settings, MediaFork allows users to quickly create copies of their DVDs in MPEG4 format.

If you're familiar with ripping and converting, MediaFork provides options for audio and video settings such as frame rate, quality, and encoding type. It also offers a choice of different media formats. The progress bar at the bottom of the interface allows users to easily track the encoding process.

While MediaFork is a well-respected GPL application, it has been abandoned in favor of the excellent and frequently updated HandBrake. However, if you're looking for a simple and free ripper/converter, MediaFork still serves its purpose.
