ImBatch is a terrific free program that enables you to manipulate multiple images, all at the same time. The software is extremely easy to use, with Windows being the only prerequisite. Basically, drag and drop the photos onto your desktop, select them, and then add the changes on the appropriate places on your desktop. Windows will also then ask for your selection of what you want to do with each image. Choose 'print screen' to print each image out as a new page, or press 'print' to save your selection in the form of a PDF file.
In addition to this great utility, ImBatch can also be used to manage multiple images remotely. If you're working on a presentation and want to share it with several people, simply transfer the images you'd like to share onto your laptop. Then simply connect the laptop to your desktop using the USB cable and proceed to begin your presentation. ImBatch software is a Shareware that is available through a program called Bolide, which is the leading PowerPoint alternative. ImBatch can also be used to edit existing PowerPoint slides, although this process is more complex since it requires the user to have access to the graphic interface as well as to the Windows file system in order to edit the images.
A couple of things to keep in mind when editing ImBatch images is that the final result must be a WMM file, which stands for 'working copy.' It's best to save your work in this format, as it is built to be read on all computers and by default, Windows recognizes it. Furthermore, if you want to edit multiple ImBatch images simultaneously on your desktop and laptop, be sure to move the mouse to the text box and begin typing. You will need to be very careful not to click your mouse and accidentally change or cancel any editing you are doing.
