Use a Bolt Pad for Portable Computer Use
If your Logitech Wireless device didn't come with a USB receiver, your portable computer or notebook might have either Bluetooth or Logi Bolt enabled. Look for a Logi Bolt logo either on the bottom of your Logitech portable computer or on its packaging. Your devices should come with a software CD and a driver CD to install the Bluetooth enabled components. If your device comes with a Logi Bolt port, insert a Bluetooth adapter into the port to enable the Bolt device.
Some older, less expensive computers have no Logi Bolt ports and therefore cannot accept a Bluetooth adapter. Older computers that don't have a Logi Bolt port are referred to as "GAP" models and are often given a Bluetooth-ready sticker. You can upgrade your old laptop or notebook with the latest Bluetooth peripherals such as a wireless mouse or keyboard, once it has a Logitech Bolt port. If you don't want to buy a new laptop, don't forget to check if your old one has a Logitech Bolt port - these models of laptops have been released in America since 2021. In Canada, there's a version called the Mezzanine Bolt which is compatible with the older Canadian-made Logitech mice and keyboards.
Using a portable computer or notebook with a Logitech mouse or keyboard is easy because the battery and the USB hub that usually come along with it let you use your device anywhere in any room without using additional peripherals. This is convenient because your hands are free for other things and you don't need to buy other devices just to use your keyboard or mouse. On the other hand, using a laptop with a Logitech mouse pad free of charge means you won't waste money for new peripherals every time you use your computer. You'll be able to maximize your productivity and cut down on expenses.
