10AppManager is a free tool from Lavish Thakkar. It’s a useful application that can help you remove pre-installed apps or programs from your Windows 10 device. By default, you can only uninstall and reinstall third-party programs and apps, but not the default apps of Windows.
However, 10AppsManager 2.0 makes it easy for you to uninstall native Windows 10 apps. The exciting part is that users can restore the apps whenever they want to do so. It’s similar to CCleaner, but with different functionality.
Delete Windows 10 apps
Windows 10 typically comes with several default apps. Unlike the third-party apps, you won’t be able to remove or uninstall these apps. Though users can hide them from the start menu, they can still be used as default programs to open hyperlinks, emails and various programs. 10AppManager is a free tool that can remove these unwanted apps.
When using this program, it’ll show you all the programs it can uninstall. In most cases, it’s not the programs themselves but shortcuts to the installers.
This app can remove programs like:
- Calculator
- Alarms
- 3D Builder
- Maps
- Music
- Xbox
- Weather
- Solitaire
- OneNote
- Phone Companion
- Calendar
- Store
- Sports
- Camera
- Get Skype
- Get Office
- Get TV
- Voice Recorder
Simple installation and reinstallation
As mentioned, 10AppManager helps you uninstall Windows default apps from your system. All you need to do is select the particular app and click on the ‘Uninstall’ button to remove an app. Once the app has been removed, the software will notify you of the success with a dialogue box.
Users can restore the app quickly, whenever they want it back. Just choose the app you want to restore and click on the appropriate button. You might need to reboot your system in order for the changes to reflect.
Is it easy to use?
10AppManager is relatively easy to use and doesn't require any installation. All you need to do is open the folder and run the application. Additionally, you can move the software to any directory on your system and even copy it on a removable drive. Though we don’t recommend you to separate the folder from the executable file, it can still run anywhere.
