Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes marks the second installment in the popular Lego Batman video game series. The game is available for sale both in stores and online, and according to the trailers and reviews, it looks like it will be a big hit this time around. The game is similar to its predecessor, though it does feature some fresh new features, such as an improved stealth system, an increased level of detail, and better physics. I'm not sure if the improved graphics will turn off many of you or not, but from what I understand, the game is being developed specifically for the Wii U console, so it should be pretty clear when the game is released whether it will look good on the newer console, or not. The game will also be compatible with the recently announced Batman: Hong Kong downloadable content, which is another great addition that I am really excited about.
Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes takes place twenty years after the events of the previous game, as the Caped Crusader returns to save Gotham City again, this time as the leader of the Dark Knight crew. This time around, he must defeat the numerous villains that plague Gotham City along with the Dark Knight himself and defeat every villain without using any weapons (including his own). There are a few differences between the previous games in the Lego Batman series, such as that you can now choose to play as either Batman or Robin, instead of just having to pick from the two original characters. Another feature includes the introduction of the Batwing, which helps you get around in the game.
The game is well suited for both children and adults, since it involves a lot of strategy and skill. It introduces new sets such as the Batmobile and the Batplane, as well as new characters like The Riddler, Catwoman, The Joker, The Penguin, The Green Hornet, and many others. It introduces many new vehicles like the Batpod, the Batplane, and the Batboat, and gives you plenty of buildings and vehicles to play with. You can build everything from buildings, to vehicles, to criminals, to buildings, to fight villains in Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The game is well-designed, colorful, filled with humor, and really gets into the world of superheroes, in a good way!
