Spacedesk is a free app that you can download and makes it easy to extend your displays. For example, you may have a tablet and a standard PC monitor. Traditionally, wires would be involved or a call to the helpdesk. 

Spacedesk works by creating a mirror or clone of your server desktop on a secondary machine. Your secondary machine can be a tablet, Windows phone or desktop. Display your Windows screen

First, access the user manual for Spacedesk. Then install the driver software for your server device. When that’s complete, install the app on your secondary machine, and lastly restart your devices. 

Next, connect the two devices using your favourite link: a hotspot, tethering or even your home wireless network. Then, let the app complete the task.

Once you have started the app and connected your second device, the rest is easy. You can readily change your secondary display from a clone to a second monitor. To do this, access your display settings on your primary device and choose the option to extend the display. This will turn your second monitor into a useful one.
