Need for Speed is a high-octane racing game that features overlapping stories to discover as you build both your reputation and car.
Constant internet connection
While Need for Speed has focused on its singleplayer mode, you will constantly require an internet connection to play. This is required regardless of the game mode you're currently running.
This aspect is great when you're racing against other players in the game. If you're playing alone though, this can impact the title's performance. You can buy or temporarily unlock Need for Speed through subscription to EA's Origin Access.
Customise your car
Your car is one of the most important aspects of Need for Speed. The game boasts extensive customisation options for both the visuals and the overall performance of your vehicle. Once you've built your car, you can join online multiplayer races and show off your sweet ride.
Play it your way
Need for Speed offers you five unique ways to play. You can focus on speed, build, style, outlaw, and crew. These options form part of how you earn your reputation and help you complete the singleplayer story mode.
Optimised for PC
The game has been optimised for computers, letting players with a medium-quality and above computer to view the graphics' 4K resolution. You can add peripheral controllers to enhance your experience while racing.
Living world
The world of Need for Speed feels alive, even though it totally consists of all NPCs or other players. This is due to the free updates thanks to the free updates in Eddies' challenge and the many extra modes you can play. One of these modes lets you become an expert photographer.
The game does require a constant internet connection to play, but it has been specifically optimised for the PC.
