Magic Ball 2 - Shareware Game Review
The first breakout-style platform video game developed for consoles is Magic Ball 2. With visually stunning, addictive gameplay, and over 100 different customizable levels, Magic Ball 2 features everything that you could possibly want in a break-out game. Game play involves sliding your cursor across the screen to trigger special attacks which can either reflect or bounce back objects that are in your path. Each level offers a variety of achievements for your time spent on each one and the challenging task of returning to the start point to continue the game.
Magic Ball deluxe serial is the latest release of this addictive breakout game. The story and level design are largely the same but now incorporate a licensing component. You can buy the game on it's own from BigFish Games (a Big Fish Games company located in Canada). If you decide to purchase the game after the purchase period has expired then you will receive a Windows copy of the game for free!
Bigfish Games has received critical acclaim on it's follow up to Magic Ball: The Revenge of Monkey Fist, including scores of rave reviews online from both casual gamers and gaming enthusiasts. Although Windows was not specifically mentioned as being supported, the majority of reviews point out that this game runs perfectly fine on both Windows XP and Vista. I was unable to find any reports of poor performance on my test machine; in fact the game performed flawlessly. Given the fact that the game requires no additional software to run, running it on your PC will require nothing more than a mere few clicks of your mouse. The ability to play Magic Ball 2 using only your mouse will make this an extremely valuable gift idea.
