IconPhile for Windows

IconPhile is a free software program developed by Virtualplastic that allows you to easily change the icons on your Windows system. Unlike the traditional method of changing file icons through the Properties window, IconPhile offers a more comprehensive solution, allowing you to customize even system icons like My PC, My Documents, and the Recycle bin.

With a simple and user-friendly interface, IconPhile makes it easy to modify icons for different file types. You can select the type of files you want to modify from a drop-down menu and then right-click on each file to choose a new icon. The program also provides the option to restore files to their default icons whenever needed. Although the icon update process may take some time, it does not require a system restart.
