Review of the Newest Disney Feature Film - The Goonies
If you like looking for videos that teach kids how to draw, you'll find that one of your best choices is the Chicken Little movie series. You probably remember watching this as a child: The Disney Channel has re-released this classic as a series starring Mike Caren and Tim Burton. The original movie screened in theaters back in 1998, and it's a nice nostalgic trip down memory lane for many kids. Here's a review of the newest version, titled simply "The Goonies". Enjoy!
15 years after the first release of its animated feature film, Disney released another feature-length movie called The Goonies. This time, the studio aimed at children who were six years old and up, instead of kids who were five or younger. This time around, they succeeded. In this movie, the Goonies is an underground network of penguins who live in an underground kingdom called the Kingdom of Spinster. There, they go about their days doing what penguins do, which includes... you guessed it... falling into the massive swimming pool called the Squidoo.
One day, Donald and his friends Abby and Fru will decide to try and run into a big blue hole called Baby Hole. After being told that only evil beings fall into the hole (which is really not true), they set out on a grand adventure to find out if their friends can fall into the hole. The fun part of this episode is when they encounter their first runt (a baby that's basically a chicken) and follow him/her home. Once they do, they meet their new friend, Spongebob Squarepants, and he introduces them to each other. Things quickly take off from there, and they run from baby to dinosaur in pursuit of the greatest treasure ever known to mankind... the Goonies. If you loved the Goonies, then you'll love this animated feature film, which is just as good as the original.
