Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave
For those who didn't already know, Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave is a follow up on the hit arcade game from Interactivity Ltd. called Battle Circuit. In this game you have to eliminate all the enemies that appear on your screen. You have various tools available including a jet bike, a flying tank and a laser gun, these tools are needed to destroy the aliens that are quickly appearing on screen. You can pick them off one by one or more. If more than one appears on screen at once it will be a big challenge, so practice makes perfect.
The sequel of the original game, Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave has taken everything that made the original game great and made it even better. First of all the graphics have been completely redone, they are more life like. There are new levels created as well, and all original content from the first release of the game is included. It also has all the same waves as the original game. The Wave Pack upgrade is included which gives you extra levels, new tools, and gives you bonus stars, this along with the original game make this a must have game for all Xenon users. The developers, Splash Damage, have done an amazing job recreating the look and feel of the original game.
The second game in the series, includes more action and challenges. It features brand new aliens that look similar to the ones from the first installment. There are also new levels to play and upgrades. The Wave Pack, as I mentioned above, gives you extra waves if you purchase the right amount, so don't be afraid of getting one, its worth it. This game has a great storyline as well, given the fact that it is the second in a long series, this definitely helps keep the player interested in what they are doing. If you liked the original, or even if you didn't the first to go, you will definitely want to try out the second one, its fun and addictive.
