Black & White 2 Video Game Review
Unlike its predecessors, Black & White 2 features a much more robust story line, complete with entirely new characters and locations. The game presents an alternative view of what it would be like to live in the town of God's City instead of New York City. The players take on the role of an Italian chef who runs a restaurant in the fictitious city, performing many different jobs for residents. Players start with just one restaurant but can expand with multiple jobs, earning money and fulfilling goals throughout their virtual career.
The single player campaign can be played in single player and up to four-player offline modes. Additional single player challenges can be played through the online community using a messaging system. Each expansion pack adds new buildings and jobs for players to accomplish, as well as some new creatures. The first expansion pack, Gods & Monsters, introduces nine new animals and four new jobs for the chef. The second expansion pack, Legendary Dogs, gives the chef's nine new jobs and four more new animals to cook for.
