Initialize your computer with the Astro Command Center setup wizard. Choose a destination folder for the software. It will probably default to application files. Click Next to continue the installation.
Once you have completed the installation, you will need to insert your headset into your computer. Attach the USB cable to your computer. You can use the included USB cable or an external one from your headset. The supplied USB cable must be plugged into the USB port on your computer. Your headset's power should be automatically switched off.
Open your Windows Task Manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Go to the programs listed under your user profile and double-click on the Astro Command Center icon. Replace your default audio device with the default microphone in the setup menu. Then click OK. Your computer should now prompt you to insert your usb cable. Follow these simple steps and your system should be properly updated with the latest firmware for the PC and put into play when you power up. will appear by clicking on Start>Run> type regedit in the box and then click OK. You can then browse to Software and Applications and look for your drivers. You should find a driver for your Xbox A 40 wired or wireless microphone in the drivers folder. Once you have found this, just click on Update Driver and then press ok. It should take a few minutes to complete the installation. When it finishes, reboot your system and you should see the new drivers installed and working. If the update did not complete successfully, return to the step above and try again. With a little patience, any errors should be corrected and you will have your new driver installed and ready to use in just a few minutes!
