Lock USB is another one of those classic pieces of software that doesn’t really any explanation. The clue to what Lock USB is, is in the title. Lock USB can password-protect your USB so that no one else can access the information held on the USB device except the person with the password. One of the biggest downsides to storing files and data on USB devices is security. One of the best ways to move lots of data around, especially when there are bandwidth restrictions or limits is by using USB drives. But there are always issues with security around them. After all, USB is by its nature supposed to be ‘plug-and-play,’ so anyone can use it. Using something like Lock USB can give you an extra layer of security. USB Lock is easy to use. The download is also ridiculously small, as are the final installed files.
