The Spider Web of Shadows Fight
Spider Web of Shadows Fight was one of the first Lee Bruce workshops I attended. It was the first official sequel to his previous film, The Mask. I thought it was a very cool movie, although I admit the story line is a little threadbare. The story begins off, surprisingly enough, with Spider Web Of Shadows Fight running into an unauthorized reporter for a competitor newspaper wanting an exclusive on a major story. Naturally, your day quickly goes sour when Spider Web shows up unexpectedly and attacks the reporter. Flash forward several months, and now Spider-Man has taken up the mask again, in an effort to raise awareness of a problem within humanity: genetically enhanced super weapons manufacturing.
The second part of the story involves Spidey going undercover in the Baxter Building in New York, where he meets up with sympathizers of Dr. Curt Connors, and later engages the evil genetic experiment known as android 13 (I'm not going to give the full names, because they deserve to get shot). I won't give too much away, because if you haven't seen the movie, you need to go out and see it. Overall, this second part of the film is definitely better than the first. It features a terrific fight sequence between Spidey and android 13, as well as some great comedy sequences between the two. Overall, this is a fantastic film that just about anyone could relate to, including kids.
There are two versions of the story available for those who want to experience the second movie with their very own eyes. The first version is called The Cutting Cage, and the second is called Android. The first movie only includes the first half of the story (the Android mythology part), while the second version adds in the android weapons story. Both versions of the story are amazing to watch, so if you have an android device and are interested in experiencing a fun science fiction action adventure, this is the film for you. Available now on Netflix, The Spider Web of Shadows Fight is available on Demand and is ranked #1 for Best Downloadable Movie.
