RD Tunnel Pro is a free VPN app by developer MHR Tech Network. This VPN allows you to enhance your privacy and use restricted content, just like Ultimate VPN, TUR VPN PROXY and Fast VPN, to name just a few. However, simplicity is key in this case, thanks to its straightforward interface.
All of the app’s features are free of charge, but in exchange, you’ll need to endure ads. They’re not unbearable, however, and the advantages of this software outweigh this minor annoyance. It also has no speed caps or limits of any kind.
Clear advantages
RD Tunnel Pro works by masking your IP address so it looks like you’re accessing the Internet from a different place in the world. As such, it offers a decent pool of locations to choose from, though not every country is available.
By choosing a location, you’ll be automatically masked and can access content in that region. This is helpful for both privacy and access reasons. However, bear in mind that it’s not clear how the developer handles your data, which can undermine the “privacy” aspect of using a VPN in the first place.

RD Tunnel Pro does what it intends to do, namely, letting you connect to the internet as if you were in a different place. This can be a solid choice if you’re looking for a reliable VPN with few features. It’s even more the case for people that don’t want the hassle of configuring anything.
The downsides are the limited server choices and occasional bothersome ads. Even then, the developer is pretty active, and there’s an on-app menu to contact them directly. With a bit more polish and a wider choice of servers, this could become a worthwhile VPN for anyone.
