FilterProxy - Access Blocking Proxy
FilterProxy is an access blocking proxy developed by Neutral Tao. It is available on the Android platform and is free to use. As a proxy, FilterProxy blocks URLs that match registered patterns and acts as a redirector. It also replaces HTTP request headers.
To use FilterProxy, users need to make some initial settings. In the "Main-Setting" tab, they should navigate to "Mobile networks" and then "Access Point Names" for the desired access point. In the "Proxy" field, set it to "localhost" and in the "Port" field, set it to "8000" (the default port number for FilterProxy).
It is important to note that if users uninstall FilterProxy without resetting the proxy settings, they will not be able to connect to the internet. Additionally, FilterProxy is not an ad-blocking application, but rather blocks access to URLs that match registered patterns.
Please use FilterProxy at your own risk and be cautious if you experience any issues. If needed, uninstall FilterProxy and restore the proxy settings of your wireless access point. Keep in mind that FilterProxy does not change HTTPS access.
