Free Android charging utility

Battery Turbo Chargo Optimizer is a free Android charging utility developed by MobileStudios. While seemingly innocuous, this app does nothing that the Android operating system cannot already do, and using the app to its full potential requires hours of inactivity. This is far from ideal if, like me, you use your phone for work during the day.
I wouldn’t recommend any type of battery charging utilities or battery savers, primarily because the latter most often require you to root your Android device, which is a dangerous practice. Instead, if you want to optimize the health of your Android device, I’d suggest an optimization utility such as CCleaner. This app helps you keep your phone free from junk, running at peak performance, and doesn’t require you to leave your phone dormant for hours on end. Another good alternative is Clean Master.
Lofty promises
The promotional material released with the app promises super fast optimized charging. Using the app delivered no faster charging than I experience daily without such apps. The voltage delivered to my phone vacillated between 4.1 and 4.09V. Nothing out of the ordinary. Battery Turbo Charge Optimizer features three separate battery optimization settings. Even using the Extreme mode delivered no significant results.
Settings
When apps start asking for permission to root around in your settings, a red flag goes up. While I understand that the way these apps claim to work is by tweaking settings such as disabling your Bluetooth, Wifi, and mobile data connections to try and save power, I’m not ignorant of the scope of device information and functions the Settings menu encompasses. This app will turn down your screen, mess with your volume, and fiddle around with your connections.
Android does it better
Depending on the version of Android your device runs, it likely already features certain battery saving and battery charging optimization utilities. These would be features such as Android Doze. You also have the option of putting your phone into battery saver mode or, on some phones, even super saver mode.
This performs all the settings alterations that Battery Turbo Charge Optimizer does, without running the risk of being a third-party app in a genre that is known to contain releases by threat actors with malicious intent. There’s no reason to download this app, just like there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel.
