Avisos@IPMA: Stay Alerted with Weather Warnings
Avisos@IPMA is a free Android application developed by Gisgeo Information Systems LDA, which provides weather warnings for the Portuguese territory. The app displays information on meteorological conditions of risk that can cause damages or losses at different levels depending on their intensity. The warnings are available to the general population for the next 72 hours.
The app is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The main screen displays the current weather situation and the user can access the warnings section by selecting the "Avisos" tab. The warnings section shows a list of the different types of warnings, such as wind, sea, and rainfall, along with their level of intensity and the affected regions. The user can also set up notifications to receive warnings in real-time.
