Free arcade running game

Triangle Run is a free arcade running game where you feature as a triangle avatar. As you progress, you need to jump over obstacles and onto platforms, making it as far as you possibly can on the few lives you have. For similar games, you can try Road Rash and Gotta Fly!
You’ll have a score meter that counts down towards your best score thus far. Each level is randomised, so there’s a low chance of you repeating variations of the challenge after each other. There are checkpoints along the way, respawning you at that spot when you die.
Running as a triangle
Running games are enjoyable when they’re challenging, but you still stand the chance to win. Triangle Run lets you jump onto various symbols, shapes and platforms in an effort to score as many points as you can. When you die, you return to a spawn point, and the landscape changes so you don’t have the same obstacles.
Some platforms move from left to right to make your journey more challenging. There are also spheres that can be hard to land on. It’s all about the timing of your movements and ensuring you avoid the blocks trying to stop you.
Visuals and sound
The graphics are basic with only a few colours to brighten the screen. The pastel hues are soft on the eyes, which helps you focus on the symbols you need to land on or avoid. You’ll have soft sounds to accompany you, but no breathtaking music scores.
Issues with the mac version
While the Windows version of Triangle Run works perfectly fine, there are issues with the mac installation. You can still run the game from your browser, but the macOS may have trouble with the downloaded file. To get it to work properly, you’ll need to run this from the terminal: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "Triangle Run.app.”
Action arcade running
Triangle Run is a casual running game that will keep you on your toes for most of the gameplay. You’ll become so used to dying that it won’t bother you after a while. There’s also the chance that frustration may make you rage quit the game when you can’t get far enough.
Still, gamers who enjoy competing for high scores will love clocking the points on the board and showing off to other players.
