Trending Apps - A Client For Google Play Music

If you're looking for a way to download music from your computer to play on your Android device, you've probably heard of Google Play Music. If not, this service is now discontinued and can no longer be downloaded from the Google Play store. In case you are unfamiliar with the concept of Google's online locker for your music, read on to find out more about it. The service was announced on May 10, 2011 and publicly launched on November 16, 2011.

A Windows desktop client for Google Play Music is not yet official from Google, which focuses on web apps for its music service. Instead, the company has released a free Windows desktop application called Google's Play Audio - a wrapper for the Google's website. It integrates seamlessly with Windows, has native theme support and is set to automatically launch upon login. The app is free to download, so it's a good option if you're not worried about using it in a business environment.

If you have an Android phone, you can also download the Google Play Music Client. The only downside of this application is that it uses webview, which makes the playback sound shaky. It also doesn't allow you to switch songs as quickly as you would with a web browser. This is one of the major reasons why I use the Google Play Music Client. Whether you use Android or iOS, you'll be able to download music from Google's service to your phone.
