Review - Zoo Tycoon 2
Zoo Tycoon 2 continues to fly off the shelves, and its success hasn't cooled down since it hit the shelves nearly two years ago. In fact, it's probably been a whole lot more popular than Microsoft's other recent hit, Windows Vista. Windows Vista is now out of date, and many people don't even have it anymore. So, what is so great about Zoo Tycoon 2 that makes it so much of a hot seller? Well, we'll get into all the secrets behind this sale gem.
The game revolves around a man named Mike who finds a mysterious book called the zookeeper collection guide after his trip to Africa. After finding out that the book contains information on endangered species in the African continent, Mike sets out to find out where these animals are living, as well as how to get a hold of these rare animals. Along the way, he runs into trouble with some local officials, animals, and even an escaped convict. But in every adventure, there's an unexpected threat that requires you to utilize your skills in order to prevail. In this case, your success will depend entirely on the three wildlife species you've chosen to help you on your journey to finding these animals, which include the dangerous but cute scarab beetles, the agile vole, and the gigantic tree frog.
As you can see, Zoo Tycoon 2 provides hours of great gameplay coupled with great sound effects and graphics to make the most of this addictive game. In addition to that, you have access to a number of upgrades for your animal zoo empire, including the purchase of animals and other buildings as well as the purchase and sale of artifacts and decorations. If you're worried about having too many options and buttons to deal with during your gameplay, fret no more because the Windows version of Zoo Tycoon 2 has split the screen into two different sides, allowing you to work on either one while playing.
