TuneUp is a tool developed by TuneUp Media that helps organize various aspects of iTunes. If your iTunes library is a mess, full of badly labeled tracks, TuneUp is a great way to get your library organized again. It offers efficient file cleaning, making it easy to use and providing lots of additional information about your music.
TuneUp sits next to your iTunes window and has four functions. The first is 'Clean', which searches for possible matches to your mislabeled tracks and automatically changes the file's tag. It also allows you to search for cover art and update your files. The second function is 'DeDuper', which searches out duplicate songs in your collection for easy removal. The third function is 'Tuniverse', which allows you to share what you're playing on Facebook and Twitter, and see related YouTube videos and biographies. Finally, TuneUp offers concert and event notifications via the StubHub service.
TuneUp allows you to clean 500 songs and find 50 album covers for free. However, once you've used up your quota, you'll need to subscribe to continue using the service. Overall, TuneUp is a useful tool for organizing your iTunes library and comes with some handy additional features.
