Renderwow describes itself as the most advanced cloud rendering service platform internationally. (Their words, not ours, but then who are we to judge.)
Renderwow cloud rendering renderfarm does seem to do a lot. It supports V-Ray for SketchUp, and it is the authorized commercial render farm for VRay sketchup rendering by Chaosgroup and supports VRay multiple scenes, and batch submission. (If you don’t know what that means, then this probably isn’t the software for you; join the club, and thanks for reading this far.)
But that said, it is simple to use, doesn’t cost very much and is quite fast for this kind of software, and should significantly improve your work efficiency. Working in the cloud, as Renderwow does, could make you feel like you are using a supercomputer.
Submitting rendering jobs is simple and straightforward from SketchUp. All the subsequent time consuming steps will be done automatically; packaging, compressing, uploading, rendering and downloading.
Renderwow’s cloud rendering features can automatically analyze scene files and find all asset files needed during rendering. Even if asset files are not organized well, Renderwow still works.
When SketchUp rendering you can also look at the rendering screenshot anytime. If it quickly becomes apparent that the results are not as expected you can pause the rendering process at anytime
Renderwow also features nifty quick uploading. It naturally adopts advanced file transfer acceleration, redundant data deletion and incremental uploading techniques. Before packaged files are uploaded to the cloud, Renderwow carefully analyzes all the files which are needed during rendering. If files are already saved in cloud, they will not be uploaded again. If the original scene file has been uploaded once, the difference will be calculated and uploaded instead.
Renderwow will also download a task’s results automatically. If your internet connection is good enough, when rendering jobs are finished, results can be downloaded to your desktop/server/laptop etc as well. (We don’t know what happens if your connection isn’t very good.
