Plants vs. Zombies have taken the world by storm ever since it's release, turning it into a worldwide phenomenon. After being released in January of this year, it quickly grew in popularity and was one of the most downloaded apps on Google Play. EA has yet to announce whether or not Plants vs. Zombies will be coming to the Wii or any other platforms. We'll have to wait and see.
Plants vs. Zombies 3 are still in closed alpha at the time of this writing and is still only available for Android through Google. PopCap Games have been seeking feedback from the players about the combat aspect only and so far, there's been no confirmation on that. PopCap has also released several other apps, namely Draw Something and iOffers, which have proven to be quite popular. Plants vs. Zombies are a completely different experience than the original, making it difficult to rank them on overall value. This is because it does everything that we've come to expect from an adventure mobile game and then some. From the frantic action of harvesting crops to the cute little animal friends running around you, it's all here.
As with any other Plants vs. Zombies game, you can also interact with other players and build up points by planting trees in certain areas. The in-game currency, money, is used to purchase trees and power-ups to help you complete the levels. As you progress through the different game modes, you earn more money and also unlock new plants for you to use against zombies. The main article in this series will go into more detail about gameplay and app usage.
