Free Brawl Stars mod
Retro Brawl is a free private server for the MOBA game known as Brawl Stars. Unfortunately, this mod doesn’t offer players any online gameplay features. Additionally, it can be pretty tricky to unlock characters.
Retro Brawl is comparable to fighting games such as Brawlhalla. If you install this mod, there are benefits not in the original game. You’ll have the maximum in-game currency possible, which you can use to buy any item. Is it enough to persuade fans of Brawl Stars to download it, given that you may only ever be able to play with bots?
Gameplay
The game, like the original, is played with two virtual joysticks on the screen. One is for movement, while the other is for firing your weapons. You also have a special ability that charges up as you play.

Additionally, there are various styles of play such as AOE-dominant attacks, long-range and brawlers. Retro Brawl, like Brawl Stars, is a team game with many places to hide to protect yourself. It boasts an attractive art style with interactive visuals.
In this mod, however, you can play all the original maps found in the first version of Brawl Stars, along with the original 33 brawlers that came with it.
Challenges
Unfortunately, the only way to play online is to join a tournament, which can be challenging to enter. You’ll have to register to participate in one. Remember, the name you register with must match your in-game name. Should you manage to join one and win, you could earn rewards.
Further, to unlock characters, you’ll have to become a club member. Sadly, you’ll most likely have to wait to enter as they’re always mostly full.
Additional information
This mod runs on Android devices running Android 7.0 or higher. The APK is regularly updated and available to play in many different languages.
Not for everyone
This mod may not be for you if you’re new to the genre of games or even Brawl Stars specifically. It’s mostly for hardcore players who want to experience the original game and are interested in competitive play but with much longer wait times.
