Simple yet handy application launcher
When working with the computer, we waste a valuable amount of time just browsing files and folders or looking for the right program. This is why having an application launcher can be really helpful. LaunchPro is one of those launchers: a totally customizable menu with support for drag and drop that you can configure with your favorite programs and more frequently used folders and files.
All shortcuts can be classified into categories and also assigned a separate hotkey so that they're even easier to launch. This menu is displayed every time you press the selected key combination or click on the program's icon in the system tray.
App launchers, like I said, can save you time and also a few mouse movements while browsing the contents of your hard drive. But the overall impression after testing LaunchPro is that the program is too simple and lacks some advanced features to make it more useful. It would have been nice, for example, to be able to have several nodes of categories. Also, the available options to launch the menu are too few: you can only choose between Ctrl, Alt, or the Win keys. LaunchPro has been developed with a good purpose: let you access files and folders in an easier way. However, it falls short of expectations for being too basic.
