Fiscal Jesters is a free game for Windows in the match-three category of puzzle games. The premise is that you're a member of an elite squad of coin jugglers, cheering people up with your coin removal skills and wacky antics.
You can play in the one-player mode, against the game's automatic opponents, or up to three other players. You can win if you're more adept than your opponents at matching three or more coins of the same colour and creating large chains of coins. If you're a fan of puzzle games, then you'll love the classics Zuma and Bubble Shooter.
You can play Fiscal Jesters using any kind of gamepad or your keyboard. The respective controls are displayed in the game’s settings menu, and you can switch between the two control methods at any time.
Up to four players can take part in Fiscal Jesters. Multiplayer mode gets extra competitive because the more matches and chains you make in your block of descending coins, the more trash gets dumped on your opponents. You need to fill their screen up before they do the same to you.
As you progress through the game, you’ll earn in-game currency, which you can spend on cosmetic unlocks when they randomly appear. There are no real-money purchases in Fiscal Jesters. If you prefer not to have the cosmetic unlocks available, you can toggle the feature off in the settings menu.
Fiscal Jesters is one of a growing number of games that are designed to be accessible for colour-blind players.
One of our favourite things about Fiscal Jesters is the variety of gameplay options. It's a game that you can play casually in single-player mode or get competitive in multiplayer mode.
A special mention must go to the developer’s thoughtfulness in making this colour-based game accessible to players with colour-blindness. We were unable to play the game in our browser during our testing, but Fiscal Jesters worked perfectly when we downloaded it.
