Downloader for YouTube videos

Avid YouTube watchers can now enjoy their favourite videos offline by using this app. Easy to use and with fast downloads, the programme also has a free version for you to try.
Fast and convenient
FVD will auto-paste any links you copy and download files in seconds. You can also select custom quality for your videos up to 720HD. If the file doesn't have an HD version, you'll get the best possible condition.
Clean interface
The UI is straightforward and organised. Each tab has its own utilities, so you'll always find what you need. If you're using the free version, there's not much to do besides downloading videos.
Another problem when using the free version is only half of the UI is clickable. While you can download files, you don't have the option to convert them.
Multiple format options
FVD supports popular formats, including AVI and MP3. You can convert downloaded videos into any of those formats if you have premium. The app can optimise for mobile playback as well. MP4 is the ideal type for smartphones though, which is not listed on the interface.
Scheduled downloads
You can set the time where your videos will start downloading automatically. This feature is useful when you're low on a WiFi connection. It basically serves as a link-saving function.
Make sure your computer is on when a file is scheduled for download. Sometimes, when your device or WiFi is off at the download time, the app would skip it altogether. The frequency of this bug varies with users.
Limited features
Even with the premium version, you can't do much with this app. It claims to be able to download videos from any website, but only if the file is YouTube supported. And when you're not getting it from YouTube, the process is a lot longer.
Many other apps, including Internet Download Manager, are more versatile than FVD. For the same costs, you have more freedom in what you can do with your files. Besides, if you're downloading YouTube clips for the music, it's better to use the YT downloader app.
