The game is story-driven like Sara is missing, and you’ll discover a cast of diverse characters. You can talk to them or explore your college dorm. The game is still being worked on today.
Story
The protagonist wanted to spend Halloween night watching a movie with her crush, but their friends invited themselves over. The film is boring, so it’s the perfect occasion for the player to learn more about the group of friends and their personalities.

Unfortunately, this calm night quickly becomes a nightmare when the horror movie comes alive and the killer starts to chase the heroes. The story is the heart of the game, so the player will have to make tough decisions to save everyone and survive the night. The game offers branching paths in the narration, and your choices have consequences on the ending.
Gameplay
In Come Alive!, you can move the camera around using your mouse to click on objects and characters to interact. Additionally, you can choose your answer when the dialogue is happening.
If you click on a door, you’ll enter the room; right-click to exit it. Pressing A will display information about each character in your group of friends. Depending on your choices, you can lose friends and reach a different ending.
Graphics and sound design
Come Alive! offers simple yet pleasant graphics with anime-style 2D assets and an 80’s inspired soundtrack. Each character has a unique design to fit their personality. As the game progresses into horror, the visual style strays away from the bright neon lighting at the beginning to a darker, more visceral feel reflected in the environments.
