Chocolatier is an Addictive Business Simulator developed by Big Splash Games and released by PlayFirst. It is a simple casual game where the player takes on the role of an aspiring Chocolatier who is able to travel to over fourteen different countries around the globe in search of top quality chocolate ingredients to make his products famous. Along the way, he will encounter many obstacles such as business startups, production struggles, employee conflicts, production setbacks, overzealous customers and even bad business deals. This game involves networking, sales skills, logical thinking, communication, teamwork, and the art of negotiation. The game has been rated highly for its interesting storyline and the enjoyable application model.

Chocolatier story mode is the basic tutorial in the game and allows the player to brush up their skills. During this time, the player will learn how to create the different types of Chocolates and also how to market them after they have been created. After learning this, the player is then allowed to create chocolate recipes that are featured in the main story. There is also an opportunity to purchase chocolate bars after unlocking special recipes. However, this mode is not available in all versions of the game, meaning that specific games feature different story modes.

In addition to this, the Chocolatier simulation developed by PlayFirst gives the player the option to personalize their character. There are four different hairstyles to choose from, and players have the option of choosing whether or not to add glasses, a scarf or even a side scarf to their standard haircut. Personalized apparel can be edited according to the taste of the player. Other accessories such as hats, glasses, and bands can also be added to the overall look. All of these features make playing Chocolatier more interesting and the game more interesting to play in its entirety.
