AnyClient is an open source and free software that support all popular file sharing protocols including SFTP, FTP and WebDAVs/S. This includes FTP as well as HTTP and Java. It is an open-source project under the GNU Public License, which allows free non-commercial distribution. It is a high-speed, flexible and reliable protocol stack for network attached storage (NAS) and file servers.
The AnyClient web service provides many file transfer clients for your testing or deploying process. It has been designed to work with anyone host and provides you with complete flexibility in configuring it for your own server, as well as for your testing and deploying purposes. You can easily install it with the help of a simple shell script, and with the help of its Web service capability it is an ideal for testing your FTP connection speed, port forwarding, and security features.
AnyClient is very easy to configure and to use. Once installed, it will search for files using a convenient Search Field and it will automatically connect to an FTP or SFTP server and begin searching for data. Once data is located, it will save it to your specified location. AnyClient includes several additional features, such as allowing Secure File Sharing, Automated Software Updates, Code Signing, Error Logging, Advanced FTP and Windows authentication and many more.
