Up The Video Game, also known as THQ's Modern Warfare and Black Site, is a highly-acclaimed PC game developed and published by THQ for Microsoft. Developed by independent gamer group named "Up The Professionals", it was released in June of 2021. It is largely based on the Pixar movie of the same title. In the game, gamers play the lead role as an up-and-coming Hollywood movie director, who must save the world from the grips of a deadly virus known as the "Plague". The game is set in contemporary Hollywood, and deals with a number of famous characters such as Max Reis, John Lithgow, Tina Majorino, Denholm Elliott, Emmannuel Chriqi and Craig Gillerman.

Upon beginning to play the game, you are taken to a movie-like world where you direct your character (casting screen) through different stages of action, which are designed to be fun and interactive. At certain points in the game, the character will need to save his or herself from a variety of attacks using a variety of gadgets available at that point in time in the game. Upon completing a level or mission, the hero will earn the privilege of using a special video app for the Windows PC to save the file. The video app features the likes of celebrity photos and in-game purchases, as well as quick access to the game menu and online friends.

A Windows video app can be installed through one of two methods: through freeware/shareware programs offered by websites on the Internet, or through Microsoft's Windows Live Store. Freeware programs are usually supported by either free of charge or paid membership sites. With freeware software, users are not granted total freedom to modify the program, whereas memberships provide a more stable platform for customizing the video game. Furthermore, most programs allow for both offline and online modes of game play. As an example, in a Halo video app, one can battle against the enemy within the game itself, while completing all levels and missions therein.
