Endless race
You play the game by driving around an endless snowy mountain path. Your journey is littered with various obstacles, such as oncoming traffic. While driving, you’ll need to find stars, reach checkpoints, and race against the clock.
Graphics
Shift Race uses low-end graphics which can run on many devices. While not fancy, these graphics accurately depict the 3D environment, your truck, and the snow.
The UI will show you controls, a compass, the time remaining, and the number of stars collected. While it may appear cluttered, everything is legible and easy to follow.
Simple gameplay
The gameplay is extremely straightforward, as you’ll steer a truck along an endless path until you crash. This unsophisticated loop can quickly become addicting as you attempt to beat your record after each failure. The main menu reflects this repetitive loop, your only options are playing the game or exiting the app.
The title’s controls may feel challenging to get used to at first because the left-right buttons are located on one side, while the forward and reverse buttons are on the other.
