This app is suitable for preschoolers who show an interest in pre-reading skills, as well as those who are still in the process of identifying and isolating initial sounds.
ICT-AAC Pamtilica features a user-friendly interface with a grid of symbols that need to be matched based on their initial sounds. The app resembles the classic memory game, where each symbol is associated with a corresponding text and selecting a symbol plays a sound. In addition to encouraging the recognition of initial sounds, Pamtilica can also facilitate the acquisition of new words and reinforce the letter-sound connection. The app offers various customization options based on individual needs and preferences, such as choosing the background color, selecting the number of symbol pairs, and enabling/disabling text with symbol names.
