Free horror game
Garten of Banban Project is a free horror game by AiRa International. In this game, you explore a spooky kindergarten where the children mysteriously disappeared. It's similar to 911: Cannibal (Horror Escape), The Evil Haunted House Game and Horror Tale 2: Samantha because of its haunting premise. Your main role in this game is to survive.
But survive from what, exactly? As it turns out, Banban is the kindergarten mascot. This green monster looks cute on the classroom walls but terrifying when chasing you through the dark premises.
Garten of Banban boasts some impressive graphics, especially for an Android game. The kindergarten is a vast place with details everywhere, from innocent-looking drawings on the wall to visually perfect children's games.
Excellent graphics
Lighting effects are another highlight here. These merge perfectly with the kindergarten setting to provide an uneasy atmosphere. The mascot antagonist is terrifying, and the detailed 3D graphics do an excellent job of evoking fear.
Explore the horror
The action in Garten of Banban Project is enjoyed through a first-person perspective, allowing for greater immersion than similar games. It pays off well, as the kindergarten is a big place filled with surprises.
Remember that you’re not there simply to survive. There’s a mystery to be solved here. However, it’s easy to get lost in the game’s setting, which is very detailed and makes you want to explore every bit of it. This is especially true in the dark corridors and rooms where evil may be lurking to give you a jump scare.
Won’t be sending my kids here
Garten of Banban Project succeeds in offering a contrast between an innocent setting and horror, without looking cheap. It also succeeds in offering good production values, especially for a mobile title. It’s ideal for playing on the go, because it can make your commute more exciting, with a simple interface and controls.
Even though the premise is good and has some replayability, it falls short in terms of features. The biggest offender is not having a save point system. The interface is also an area where improvements could be made. As it stands, it’s a solid proposition that could turn out to be a winner.
