Angry Birds Rio Game - A New Gaming Experience For iPhone Users
Angry Birds Rio is the second puzzle game in the Angry Birds franchise, released and developed by Rovio Mobile, the company behind all of the classic Angry Birds games. Angry Birds Rio mainly differs from its predecessors in that it is more interactive, allowing the player to manipulate various aspects of the game while playing. The game is mostly played within a single plane, but can be played between any number of planes. The main objective is to stop the evil Dr. Salus from taking over the world, much like the first game, which was set during the rise of the Axis. This time around, Dr. Salus does not want to rule the world, he just wants to make his island safe for his own bird species and become the greatest master of all five elements.
Like the first Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Rio features the cute little Rovian birds as its playable characters. They are seeking revenge against the forces that have harmed them and they help you do it by flying into the air and releasing all kinds of colorful gas as they crash into various targets. The game has a few differences from the original, though. Unlike the first game, where you controlled the birds via touch screen controls, the newest one lets you play with a keyboard. The controls are much different, though, and provide the kind of control that gives the game the sense of a high-tech action-adventure video game.
What really makes Angry Birds Rio stands out is the excellent use of animation to depict the fighting and flight scenes. The entire game is like a short movie, though, and doesn't reach the same level as the other Angry Birds games. It is, however, a fun action-adventure that will keep even casual players entertained. And best of all, it is available for free on the iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices!
