You are bound to get your message across using ImTranslator. When you download the add-on, it automatically adds an additional option onto the existing context menu. This additional option will open up a completely new window, having a blank field for your original text, translation choices in the center, and a translation below. Unlike other translation programs that offer translation choices on the top of the page, this program displays the translated text right underneath the original word.
With other translation programs, including most of the free ones, you have the ability to change the language of the document as many times as you'd like until the software finds the perfect match. With ImTranslator, however, only a single language can be used throughout the document, so you'll need to think about which language you need your translations to be rendered into before choosing which particular translators you want to use with the program. Because ImTranslator is primarily designed for English speakers, the majority of its translations involve people communicating in that language. Because of this, you should know that its default settings are very basic. It's possible to change those settings to suit your own needs; there are many different language definitions, so you may find that they are quite different from those of the people you want to use your translation program on. The only other thing you can do in this mode is to select a default translation.
On the whole, ImTranslator is easy to learn, and it offers advanced features like context menu translations, multiple translation providers, and a built-in translator. However, because this program is intended to be used with the English language, some users may not feel comfortable transposing their documents to use ImTranslator's default settings. If you wish to use these advanced features, you should learn a second language or pay for an additional tutorial.
