Gears is a very famous automobile driving simulation game on the market, but it has been exclusively developed for the Windows operating system. Previously, this software also intended to be compatible with other operating systems. Currently, a new version of the game has been released for the Nintendo Wii, which makes it even more interesting to download and try for yourself. The major difference in the new version is that it now supports the selection of multiple player options in addition to local and network modes in online mode. Previously, in the offline mode, players can select only the first person perspective, which can be quite interesting for racing fans as this feature provides them the opportunity to drive their real car. The game itself can be played either in first-person perspective or through a third person perspective, using the Wii MotionPlus accessory. If you are using the local network mode, you can race against other players, or opt to just play with another player in the same room. The multiplayer mode in Gears simulator for PC is primarily addressed at the online modes, where you can race against other online players who have the latest Gears release, and also take part in tournaments.

Currently, Gears is not available for the iPad. However, the development team, which develops the Gears simulator app for Windows as well as the iPod Touch, is considering porting it to the popular tablet computers. There are no concrete plans yet, but it looks all but sure that tablets will be able to enjoy the fun of playing the official Xbox games. It has been in the works since 2021, and although the first version of the app did not receive a lot of attention, the new version, which includes a number of improvements, will surely be a hit amongst casual gamers as well as hardcore PC gamers.
