Dynacore is a free science fiction roguelike shooting game featuring an astronaut who lands on a strange planet. The only weapons and items you have are those you encounter on your journey. For other titles in this genre, you can give Extraneüm, Platypus and Cold Shot a try.
The game has a permadeath feature, which means you’ll restart from the first level if you die. No items or weapons will carry over, but they will unlock in the archives an item you’ve discovered. There are also plenty of achievements to obtain if you’re a completionist.
Shooting action
The primary mechanic of Dynacore is the roguelike shooting action with a top-down perspective. It features a 2D environment where you explore parts of the planet you landed on. You’ll find many items and weapons to collect, but there are also aliens that will attack you on sight. If you die, you’ll head back to the beginning with nothing in hand, starting again.
Basic graphics and gameplay
The visuals of Dynacore as basic with different colours and lines identifying the aliens, items, and your character. However, moving around is easy as long as you don’t press the keys for too long. There are plenty of achievements to unlock for each level, and items and weapons you find are stored in your archive as passive or active.

Fortunately, the developer of Dynacore has an active log of improvements they bring to the game. Some of the past ones included fixing the alien animations, making sure achievements unlock at the right time, charging weapons properly, undoing alien projectile glitches, and much more. In this way, the team ensures a satisfying experience during each play.

Dynacore is a fun gun that will have you replaying the levels until you reach 100% completion. It will keep you busy for as long as you want to unlock the achievements, weapons and items. With your knowledge of areas where you died, you’ll be able to progress further.
There are constant updates in the background from the developer, making sure you continue to enjoy the experience. Each weapon has a different ability, which adds to the action of the rogue-like shooter. It’s up to you to pass every level and survive.
