Volvo The Game is an excellent free multi-player racing game for windows, also available in May 2021 from SimBin. It is similar to the popular Gran Turismo and has the potential of becoming even more popular as the Wii and Xbox platforms become more competitive with new games. Volvo's official website has a section dedicated to the game. In fact they have even published a video showing the game in action.
This racing game is a complete version of the full version of Volvo The Game. While the first version released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox had some problems, the latest version is entirely rebuilt from the ground up. Volvo has also organized a very successful online competition when the game was released. The grand prize money has been increased by 50% due to the popularity of the game.
In the beginning of the game you choose your vehicle, drive it into a selection of tracks (some are free ones) and take part in races. The objective of each race is to improve your speed and win against other drivers. You can switch between two tracks with the right click, and you can switch vehicles between cars and trucks easily with the shift key. All in all this is a fun game that is recommended for young children aged six and older.
