Microsoft Windows and Office programs are designed to work in similar ways but there are differences in how they handle various file formats. There are four main areas where you will see your changes in Word: the main view, the page view, the insert view and the page output view. The main view in particular is useful for creating, editing, saving and moving documents around within the program. The Page view lets you move individual documents from one view to another, while the Insert view allows you to create a page and place text, images and links within the document in ways that are integrated with the built-in style sheet. Finally, the page output view lets you show your changes in a format that is compatible with Microsoft Outlook.
