Superstars V8 Racing is the new high octane racer from Black Bean Games. This game aims to provide both accessibility and complexity for racing enthusiasts. With the ability to jump straight into the game and race, as well as options to adjust difficulty levels and more, players can have a realistic and immersive experience.
In this demo, players can choose from a range of touring cars, each with their own unique handling characteristics. The demo features one track, Portimao, which can be raced in wet or dry conditions. Control is smooth and responsive, supporting force feedback wheels for a more immersive experience. However, it is worth noting that there is no in-cockpit view available.
The racing in Superstars V8 Racing is exactly what you would expect from touring cars - fast, exciting, and highly competitive. The gameplay is a contact sport, with aggressive bumper-to-bumper racing. Despite being a demo, the AI opponents provide a good challenge even on the easy difficulty setting. Damage seems to be minimal in this demo, but the overall racing experience is still highly enjoyable.
