Romae ad Bellum Mod is a free mod for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition that makes significant changes to the game. For the most part, it adds new nations with military units, training, tech upgrades, buildings, and more. For gamers who prefer a die-hard approach with original strategy games, you can try C&C: Generals Zero Hour, Rome: Total War and Warzone 2100.
There are also aesthetic and combat changes to incorporate the new nations. With every new update with new countries, you’ll see a complete list of what’s included. However, some of these updates require that you remove the previous version of the mod.

It takes time to develop a new nation for AoE: Definitive Edition, as every element of the game needs to be taken into account. The only issue is that you need to remove the previous version of the mod to install the new one. It doesn’t update automatically.
