Resonance of the Ocean is a free single-player RPG that involves a young girl who must survive on a tropical island. She will be required to acquire various items in order to make a series of instruments and communicate with far-off echoes. The open-world nature of Resonance of the Ocean is similar to other bundles, such as Terraria. Yet, its decidedly lighthearted nature will provide entertainment for players of all ages.

As opposed to the majority of games associated with resource farming and exploration, Resonance of the Ocean will not take very long to complete. Many users state that it can be finished in under 30 minutes. It is ideally suited for those interested in more simplified levels of gameplay.

Although the tropical island itself is not very large, there are numerous areas to explore. Players will also have to interact with various objects when creating musical instruments. In many ways, it can be compared to other casual bundles like Minecraft: Story Mode in terms of how users can freely interact with their environments. The relaxing nature of this game is further augmented through the use of crisp line art, a sedating soundtrack, and intuitive controls.
