Using Multifox to Manage Multiple Online Accounts From One Central Location

Multifox was developed by Christian Weixler (Mozilla's Product Manager) and Michael Schrage (Firefox Product Manager). Multifox was released as a fork of Mozilla Firefox called Redirect Virus. Multifox aims to be an alternative to Firefox browser with the same features but also adds some features of Internet Explorer. For example, when you are using Firefox, you can easily change your homepage, but when using Multifox you have to go through several menus for each site you want to visit. This time, with Multifox, you have to click on "Webkins" icon in the browser instead of the usual browser buttons or search box.
Multifox works quite well with Firefox browsers, but not with Internet Explorer and so it was removed from the market, ironically, while still maintaining its popularity in some communities. Multifox was re-introduced into the Firefox Extended Support Release in March 2021, with the same description as before. It worked perfectly in this release and now even works flawlessly with all latest Firefox releases (versions 15 and above).
A year later, Firefox released a new multi-account feature that lets users manage multiple online accounts from one central location. With the help of this new feature you can log into your various online accounts from anywhere with the help of Firefox Accounts Manager. If you are wondering how to install the latest version of the free extension, it is quite easy, just download the latest version of the free web browser and copy the Multifox folder to the Firefox installation folder. You can also burn the Multifox folder to CD if you do not want to copy it to your computer.
