Battles of the Third Age is a free mod for Battle for Middle-earth II: Rise of the Witch King (BfME: RotWK for short) on Windows systems by modder MorguLord. This mod has been around for a long time, but it’s updated regularly. It makes many changes to the game, including following the lore more closely and focusing on the Third Age of Middle Earth. It also fine-tunes many features of the original game.

The latest release also comes with a new classification system. This means all heroes, units, and buildings have a specific role, which helps organise things.
