There is, however, one caveat; even though the app’s name is ‘Sportening’, and not Footballening, don’t expect to keep up with your favourite tennis stars or basketballers.

Unfortunately, the most recent update to the app prior to the writing of this review left the app largely useless to many fans. Fans complain that since the last update, they can no longer find their favourite teams and are instead furnished with a choice of a team from a meagre pool of eight. Since the entire app revolves around keeping up with your favourite team, the inability to do so renders the app useless.
